At CANCO, we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief Operating Officer for our retail establishment. This is a dynamic opportunity to shape the direction of our organization and drive business growth.
Salary & BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
Job DescriptionThe Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational performance of our retail establishment. Key responsibilities include:
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, delegating representatives as necessary.
- Talent Acquisition: Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions.
- Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
The successful candidate will supervise a team of 3-4 people and work on a permanent basis with 35 hours of work per week. The primary work language is English.
