Program Advisor Opportunity

At Yorkville Education Company, we are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Program Advisor to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Program Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting students to achieve their academic goals and succeed in their programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure student commitment and engagement by following up with term registrations, resolving registration issues, and reaching out to students at risk of departure or poor coursework performance.
  • Administer withdrawal and re-entry protocols, including processing withdrawals and leaves of absence, and offering pathways and services to support re-enrollment.
  • Prepare at-risk and grade reporting from faculty, and assist with student retention and persistence reporting.
  • Connect students with support services, including academic, financial, IT, tutoring, housing, and health and wellness services, and follow up to ensure the appropriate level of support was provided.
Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree and experience in customer service, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and seeing students succeed.
  • Strong consultative skills, including the ability to ask intelligent questions, actively listen, and approach problems analytically and creatively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and faculty, and a deep appreciation for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel, and the ability to quickly learn how to use our student information systems.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods for student registration and reporting.
