We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. Job Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for allocating resources, coordinating work, and establishing financial and administrative controls. You will also be responsible for formulating and approving promotional campaigns, selecting middle managers, and creating optimum working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior executive role
  • College/CEGEP education
  • Fast-paced environment and attention to detail
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of $59.00/hour for 35 hours per week. The employer accepts applications from Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada, as well as other candidates with a valid Canadian work permit.
