Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at RED SWAN PIZZA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that our kitchen operations are run efficiently and effectively.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standard.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 30 hours per week.
