Job Title: Gas Fitter Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter Technician to join our team at Blais Industries. As a Gas Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas heating units and their components, as well as advising clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain gas heating units and their components
  • Service gas heating units and their components
  • Advise clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components

Requirements:

  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
