Job Title: Gas Fitter

Blais Industries is seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas heating units and their components, as well as advising clients on safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain gas lines and equipment
  • Service gas heating units and their components
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Advise clients on safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
