Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Services Assistant to join our team at Jecxo Electrical & Renovation. As an Administrative Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining office supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Arrange travel and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Perform data entry
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

As an Administrative Services Assistant, you will also provide support to newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.

Support for Youths

You will provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

Support for Indigenous People

You will provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
