Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist to join our team at EllisDon Forming Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
