Job Title: Carpenter - Concrete Forms

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Concrete Forms to join our team at EllisDon Forming Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Carpenter - Concrete Forms will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Work Environment:

The Carpenter - Concrete Forms will work in a noisy, dusty, and outdoors environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
