Job Summary

The Account Risk Engineer will be responsible for developing and evaluating technical documents, participating in client meetings, and coordinating with technical staff to utilize coastal resources effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering analysis and design of coastal and marine structures, particularly on the Great Lakes and northern Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate technical documents, including project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress, address concerns, and provide technical expertise.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to ensure effective utilization of coastal resources and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct analysis and design of marine and coastal structures, including shore protection, flood risk reduction infrastructure, living shorelines, and restoration.
  • Manage projects, including planning, monitoring, and controlling project scope, budgets, deliverables, and schedules.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Civil, Coastal, Marine Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum of ten years of coastal engineering experience in a consulting or contractor role, with a specific emphasis on analysis and design.
  • Strong interest in analysis, design, and implementation related to coastal, port infrastructure, navigation and dredging, metocean, and ocean renewable energy.
  • Experience with project management, including planning, monitoring, and controlling project scope, budgets, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
