Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Amazon Full time

As a seasoned professional in the field of technical product management, you will be responsible for leading the vision and execution for a new AWS product and service that leverages Generative AI to deliver innovative support solutions to our enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, network development, or IT, with at least 5 years of experience in technical product management. You will work closely with engineering leaders to define product roadmaps and achieve business goals, while also engaging with customers through various channels and serving as their voice internally.

A day in the life of this role will involve working closely with AWS account teams, Enterprise Support stakeholders, and Kumo Engineering teams to deliver key initiatives. You will align senior leaders across AWS to automate manual communication processes by highlighting customer value and metrics, and collaborate with US teams for user research, testing, and wireframing.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the AWS Global Support team, which interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. If you are passionate about delivering high-value solutions to AWS customers and enjoy leading initiatives that are critical to their cloud operations, then this Principal Product Manager Technical (PMT) role with the AWS Trusted Advisor team within AWS Kumo may be the perfect fit for you.

At Amazon, we hire the world's brightest minds and offer an environment where they can relentlessly detect, design, and drive solutions to excel operationally and improve customer experiences. We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager Technical who is innovative, passionate, and customer-focused, and willing to get hands dirty in a start-up environment while optimizing delivery against both short and long-term goals.

In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical product management experience, 3+ years of technical experience, and experience taking a product from conception and definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market. Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle is also highly desirable.

We are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and Amazon is an equal opportunity employer. Our total compensation package includes equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The estimated salary for this position ranges from $135,700/year up to $226,500/year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
