About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Fairstone. As a key member of our Credit Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of risk strategies to ensure the overall risk appetite framework is met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Credit Risk Management function and develop risk strategies to support business objectives.
  • Design, implement, test, and monitor risk strategies to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Liaise with key bank departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration during project activities.
  • Produce timely and accurate reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Investigate and propose new solutions to improve portfolio performance.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in Credit Risk or a related field.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge of credit risk management principles and the ability to assess, measure, and monitor risk.
  • Intermediate skills using SAS or SQL to mine, transform, and analyze large amounts of data.
