We are an integral part of YVR, supporting construction and development projects on Sea Island. Our Engineering Projects Department works closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet the goals of the YVR Executive Team and leadership.

Job Description

We're seeking experienced professionals for permanent, full-time positions as Intermediate or Senior Project Engineers (Civil & Electrical Engineering) in our Engineering Projects Department. Reporting to the Manager, Airside Engineering Projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing diverse construction projects with varying complexities.

  • Developing project requirements, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned capital projects
  • Creating and delivering project implementation plans in collaboration with Airport Operations and Maintenance, focusing on construction safety and environmental stewardship
  • Evaluating Request for Proposal and Tender documents, including scope of work definition, technical requirements, and schedule constraints
  • Leading design teams to meet desired project outcomes while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Maintaining and managing project budgets, including forecasting costs and risk management
  • Liaising with internal Airport Authority departments and external stakeholders throughout projects, such as managing construction contracts, work progress, change orders, payments, and disputes
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is between $91,587 and $119,696 per annum (Intermediate) or $97,599 and $127,555 per annum (Senior), based on a 37-hour workweek.
