Job Summary

BARBURRITO is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining high standards of quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient work schedules and methods to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and train staff in food preparation, portioning, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including obtaining and maintaining Safe Food Handling certification
  • Manage inventory, prepare budgets, and submit reports to senior management
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel
Work Environment

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality control.
