Director of Business Development

The Stonewood Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our business growth across all market segments. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful organization with committed ownership and a highly entrepreneurial culture.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and understand customer needs (technical, programmatic, commercial)
- Develop relationships with key customers
- Develop and execute pursuit plans to close new contracts, win RFPs
- Participate in market analyses identifying potential opportunities and customers
- Plan, organize and execute proposal development activities
- At least ten years of engineering, program management, and/or business development experience
- Electronic systems engineering degree or related
- Business development, capture management experience in the Space, Defense or Intelligence sectors (Desired)
- Demonstrated ability to be customer focused
- Understanding of financial business models
- A highly educated and diverse employee structure

The successful candidate will have a strong industry and company growth background, with a proven track record of developing and executing business development strategies.
