Compensation and Rewards Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation and Rewards Strategist to join our team at Aviso Wealth Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing compensation, benefits, and reward and recognition strategies and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and external partners to enhance Aviso's employee value proposition, attract talent, and maintain competitive market positioning and rewards.
- Optimize and manage compensation and benefit programs across the enterprise for all levels and functions, including executive compensation.
- Lead and develop junior staff and share expertise in reward plan design and management.
- Partner as a subject matter expert with our client-facing HR Business Partners to support the design and implementation of rewards programs.
- Provide expertise and recommendations to all levels of leadership, enabling impactful compensation discussions through preparation of reports and presentations based on market research and analysis.
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a similar role managing people/teams.
- CHRP, CCP or other HR related designations would be an asset.
- Strong business acumen is required with a high level of integrity to manage the sensitive nature of decisions around all things related to compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition.
- Proven ability to quickly partner with all levels of leadership, including executive is required.
- Strong consultative communication and relationship management skills are required.
- Deep analytical capabilities to evaluate complex data, identify trends, and make recommendations is required.
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset.

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 CAD annually.
