Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation and Rewards Strategist to join our team at Aviso Wealth Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing compensation, benefits, and reward and recognition strategies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and external partners to enhance Aviso's employee value proposition, attract talent, and maintain competitive market positioning and rewards.
  • Optimize and manage compensation and benefit programs across the enterprise for all levels and functions, including executive compensation.
  • Lead and develop junior staff and share expertise in reward plan design and management.
  • Partner as a subject matter expert with our client-facing HR Business Partners to support the design and implementation of rewards programs.
  • Provide expertise and recommendations to all levels of leadership, enabling impactful compensation discussions through preparation of reports and presentations based on market research and analysis.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in a similar role managing people/teams.
  • CHRP, CCP or other HR related designations would be an asset.
  • Strong business acumen is required with a high level of integrity to manage the sensitive nature of decisions around all things related to compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition.
  • Proven ability to quickly partner with all levels of leadership, including executive is required.
  • Strong consultative communication and relationship management skills are required.
  • Deep analytical capabilities to evaluate complex data, identify trends, and make recommendations is required.
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset.
