Key Responsibilities- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.
- Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, determine the size of food portions and costs, and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent oral communication skills;
- Flexibility, organized, and a team player.
This is a permanent position with a standard full-time schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. You will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail required. Standing for extended periods is also expected.
