Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Smitty's Family Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Greeting: Greet customers as they arrive and show them to their seats.
  • Table Management: Manage table assignments, ensure prompt seating, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Communication: Respond to customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, and fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, and team player.
