Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Smitty's Family Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide menu recommendations to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Table Management: Manage table assignments, seating arrangements, and wait times to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
  • Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and excellent guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with standing for extended periods and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, client focus, and ability to work in a team environment.
