Drywall Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Fine Drywall Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish.
- Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit.
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, ensuring a sturdy and secure installation.
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, achieving a smooth and even finish.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound, ensuring a strong and durable bond.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
- Permanent employment with 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
