Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Spacestar Drywall LTD. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for drywall projects
  • Supervise other workers to ensure efficient project completion
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall projects
Work Environment

As a Drywall Finisher, you will work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment, often outdoors. You will be required to relocate to rural areas for project assignments.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall finishing
  • Or equivalent experience in a related field
Supervision

You will be working under the supervision of 3-4 people, with a permanent work term and 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
