Job Title: Drywall Finisher

Spacestar Drywall LTD. is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for drywall projects
  • Supervise other workers to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall projects
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall finishing
  • Ability to work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment
  • Willingness to relocate to rural areas
  • Ability to supervise 3-4 people
Work Environment:

Drywall Finishers work outdoors in rural areas, often in dusty and hot conditions. They must be willing to relocate to rural areas and work in a team environment.
