About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Consultant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our construction cost planning team, you will play a critical role in providing expert cost estimating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and delivering tailored cost estimating solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates at various stages of projects, from conceptual design to pre-tender stage.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to prepare proposals and reports, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, project progress, and cost estimates.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction, or Civil Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in estimating/quantity surveying, with a senior-level understanding of construction estimates, contracting, procurement, and scheduling.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of CIQS standard method of measurement, provincial lien acts, and CCDC standard contract conditions. Proficient in Sharepoint and MS Office, including Project. Hands-on experience with CostX is an asset.
