About the RoleAs a Licensed Practical Nurse with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will be responsible for performing full scope practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes within a designated area of specialty. You will work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and under general supervision, supports the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes or where the acuity or complexity of care requires an advanced level of knowledge and skill beyond the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document client care, and provide support to clients and their families.
- Clinical Competence: Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to deal with others effectively.
- The physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Estimated Salary: $64,700 - $83,000 per year
