Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Richmond General Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to enhance their skills and work in a high-acuity environment.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with recent acute medical/surgical experience to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Enhance quality of life for clients and families through empathetic and compassionate care
  • Maintain expertise and leadership in nursing practice, staying up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines

**Requirements:**

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of British Columbia (CNC)
  • Recent acute medical/surgical experience (approximately 2 years)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
