Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and influence HR activities at our Edmonton manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on generalist and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives and improve employee engagement.
  • Manage the HR function, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct HR-related research and analysis to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
