Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Royal Garden. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accuracy and minimizing waste.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
