Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Royal Garden. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
  • Train and develop the skills of our team members, focusing on sanitation, safety, and customer service
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory, ensuring that we always have the necessary ingredients and materials on hand
  • Recruit and hire new team members, ensuring that they meet our high standards
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics
  • Work closely with our chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
