The Human Resources Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the Nucor Rebar Fabrication team by performing essential HR functions.



Key Responsibilities:



Administrative Functions:




  • Exhibit behavior in alignment with Nucor Rebar Fabrication's vision, mission, and core values.
  • Maintain current documentation related to staffing, recruiting, training, performance evaluations, compensation, leaves of absence, and compliance with provincial/federal regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive support for all administrative functions within the HR department to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts to ensure the successful hiring and integration of new employees within Nucor Rebar Fabrication.
  • Assist with job postings, applicant screenings, and documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking throughout the recruitment process.
  • Monitor and support the employee interview and selection process to ensure consistency and compliance with internal standards.
  • Maintain and update personnel files, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees at all levels regarding policies, payroll, and benefits, following up on issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Assist in conducting external and internal audits of HR and payroll data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support wellness initiatives and other employee engagement and communications activities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


Requirements and Qualifications:




  • Minimum 2-year diploma in a relevant field.
  • Understanding general HR policies and practices.
  • Strong organizational, customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
