At Intello Technologies Inc., we're looking for a skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Hamilton, Ontario.

About the Role

This role is responsible for providing expertise and analysis in the areas of Compensation, Benefits, and HR Administration to a public sector Hospital client in Ontario with over 4,000 employees. As an Ambassador of our Solutions, you will be investigating questions using various resources to obtain necessary data.

  • Manage work requests from the client to determine priority, implementation timelines, and liaison with technical teams for completion.
  • Process WSIB Form 7 earnings reporting.
  • Manage and process HR transactions – New Hire, rehire, termination, retirement, leave of absence, and returned from leave of absence.
  • Review and generate bi-weekly records of employment.
  • Process and audit bi-weekly wage progression.
  • Benefits and pension administration.
  • Client service support managing inquiries.
  • Maintain and update documentation regarding HR processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and reengineering.
  • Support HR project initiatives including documentation, testing, and training.
  • Test new enhancements or fixes to PeopleSoft before they are released into the production environment with support from the technical team.
  • Partner and collaborate with the client and other teams on resolving HR-related issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of initiatives that foster a positive work environment and inclusive culture.
  • Identify areas where HR processes or employee initiatives can be optimized based on data insights.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Able to come to the office in Hamilton, Ontario 1-2 days per week, depending on workload, training, and tasks.
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft.
  • Strong knowledge of Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP).
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in HR, Compensation, and Benefits.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy, and achieving quality standards are musts.
  • Highly motivated and possess an intrinsic passion for quality and process improvements.
  • Proven decision-making abilities based on analysis, experience, judgment, and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to create positive relationships, establish rapport, and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work to tight timelines.
  • Experience with multi-unions.
  • Knowledge of HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent organizational skills; including effective prioritization, time management, and the ability to multitask.
Requirements

We require:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Successful completion of CHRP certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources-related roles.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.

The estimated salary range for this role is $47,000-$71,000, plus a performance bonus of 10% of annual salary. We offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including minimum three weeks of vacation, flexible benefits plan, and more.
