Your Opportunity

Our Assurance team is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Efficiently preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for our clients in various industries, including non-profit organizations.
  • Performing audits on a variety of organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to their requests and suggestions.
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team.

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A completed CPA designation or in the process of completion.
  • 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations and a desire to develop further knowledge in this area.
  • A strong value on teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
