We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at CL Chartered Professional Accountant Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will be proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Office, and have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

In this role, you will work independently to maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports. You will also be responsible for preparing tax returns and trial balances of books.

As a Financial Record Keeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
