Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Caringpeople Healthcare Inc. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment and utensils
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional and respectful manner
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, including diversity and cross-cultural training
  • Recruit and support youth employment initiatives
  • Participate in programs that support Indigenous people, including mentorship and cultural competency training
  • Support visible minorities through hiring policies and mentorship programs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food service or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
