Retail Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading our sales operations and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Direct and control daily sales operations, evaluate performance, and plan and organize sales strategies.
  • Staff Management: Manage a team of sales staff, assign duties, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Market Research: Study market trends and consumer demand to inform sales strategies.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of sales experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

Our sales team operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
