About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at 4420920 Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing daily operations, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize business performance.
  • Staffing and Development: Recruit, hire, and develop sales staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address any issues or challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a sales or management role.
  • Work Setting: Sales, door-to-door selling, and fast-paced environments.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Database software and ability to work with technology to drive sales growth.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and attention to detail.
