Manufacturing Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technologist to join our team at ProMach. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing software programs for our CNC and waterjet equipment, as well as supporting the production process through efficient production procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement software programs for CNC and waterjet equipment using Jetcam and MasterCam software.
- Support the production process by utilizing the ERP system to process and track material movements, opening and closing jobs, and reviewing parts for quality control inspection.
- Assist with the release of drawing releases and schedules from the engineering department to the production department.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing engineering technology or similar.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, including programming machining software or quality control.
- Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Design for Manufacture experience/training.
- Understanding of machining practices, using various equipment and on various materials.
- Jetcam software knowledge for waterjet system an asset.
- CNC operation proficiency preferred.
