As a Mechanical Engineering Design Technologist, you will assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications, as well as assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. You will also carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials, and prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with SolidWorks software and estimate costs and materials. You will also prepare contracts and tenders, and work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
