Luxury Resort Front Desk Supervisor Position

Salary InformationWe are offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the unique opportunities and challenges presented by this role at our luxury resort.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Guest Services Supervisor to join our Front Desk team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of guest service are consistently met and exceeded. Your primary focus will be on leading the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, including supervising staff, coaching and training employees, and maintaining a positive working relationship with all team members.
Your expertise in Opera PMS and other relevant systems will be invaluable in managing front desk services and daily operations efficiently. You will also be required to handle complaints and provide resolutions, as well as assist the Front Office Manager as needed.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with 3+ years of experience as a Guest Services Agent or equivalent. High school graduation is mandatory, and first aid certification is highly desirable. The ability to plan, prioritize, and complete multiple projects in a timely manner, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for this position.

- Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
- Supervise and assist Front Desk team as required
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and service
- Handle complaints and provide resolution
- Assist Front Office Manager as required
- Serve as property Manager on Duty as required
- 3+ years' experience as Guest Services Agent or similar
- Opera PMS Experience an asset
- High School graduation required
- First Aid certification an asset
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete multiple projects in a timely manner
- Ability to develop common sense solutions to everyday problems
- Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve goals
- Ability to work with all employees to promote teamwork and co-operative relationships within and across departments
