Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at the Canadian Mental Health Association Manitoba and Winnipeg.
The successful candidate will be part of our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in our Community Housing with Supports program, providing comprehensive community housing and wellness support services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support individuals experiencing mental illness, addictions, and homelessness by developing personalized recovery plans.
- Collaborate with community partners to foster a supportive environment for individuals to achieve their goals.
- Assist clients in acquiring skills and meaningful roles for success and satisfaction in their chosen environment.
Requirements:
- Completed 3-year post-secondary human service degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Two years' experience in a community-based social service setting, preferably in mental health, addiction, or housing.
- Knowledge of poverty, homelessness, mental health, addictions, recovery, and related systems and community services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to acquire the Certified Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Designation (CPRRP).
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) knowledge.
