We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Environmental Technologist to join our team at Pinchin. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the areas of environmental remediation and due diligence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapour sampling, to support municipal redevelopment approvals and Record of Site Condition filings.
- Monitor underground storage tank removal programs and other remediation activities.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior/intermediate project technologists.
- Prepare and edit technical reports, including the development of conceptual site models.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science.
- 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in Ontario.
- Professional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., C.E.T. etc. (or working towards), is considered an asset.
- Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills, along with the ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04 and experience with Excess Soils work under Ontario Regulation 406/19.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Availability to travel for work and work outside core business hours.
