Job Summary:

The Penticton Western News is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join its Circulation Department as a Coordinator. This permanent part-time position is responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution of newspapers and other materials to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute flyers and other promotional materials to recruitment areas
  • Deliver weekly newspapers to subscribers and non-subscribers
  • Audit routes to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with route logistics and boundaries, including surveying new distribution areas
  • Perform other field work as necessary to support the Circulation Department

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for work use with proper insurance
  • Vulnerable sector criminal record check
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
