About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Jora Purewal. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medications and providing emotional support.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging in activities such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor clients' health and safety, reporting any concerns to management and taking necessary action to prevent accidents.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a care-related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
