About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Jora Purewal. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Light Exercise: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a care-related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling; combination of sitting, standing, walking; physically demanding.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability.
