We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-in Caregiver to provide personal care and homemaking services to our clients in their homes.
Job Summary:The Live-in Caregiver will work from Monday to Friday, providing 24-hour care during this time. The caregiver will be given an 8-hour period to sleep at night and a 4-hour break during daytime hours.
Essential Functions:- Provide personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal planning, purchase of food, and food preparation.
- Clean and maintain a safe and clean environment, including laundry, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Perform personal errands, as requested by the client or Agency.
- Document care given and pertinent observations accurately.
- Treat clients and families with respect and maintain confidentiality.
- High school graduate or equivalent certificate.
- Meets passing criteria on DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test.
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, follow a written Plan of Care, and document tasks performed.
- Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
