Job Summary

Canada Post Corp is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Post Office Assistant. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling postal products and services, and handling mail and packages with care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service: Sell postal products and services to customers, including mail and package delivery, postage, and other related services.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Mail and Package Handling: Sort, distribute, and process mail and packages, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to Canada Post's standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business administration or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift mail containers of up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and move quickly and efficiently in a retail environment.
