Buhler Industries Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the full product life cycle, from concept to launch and maintenance phases. This role requires strong product and project management skills, as well as the ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the product life cycle through concept, specification, design, launch, and maintenance phases.
- Conduct research to specify market requirements for current and future products.
- Develop and implement product marketing plans, working closely with Marketing to define strategic planning and customer targets.
- Collaborate with Engineering to define product release requirements and modifications.
- Analyze and prioritize requests for product improvements.
- Determine industry trends and forecast accordingly to ensure company goals are met.
- Develop product training materials and travel to dealers and attend farm shows.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Product Manager or in a directly related progressive role.
- Five or more years of experience with agricultural equipment is strongly preferred.
- Strong product and project management skills, as well as a good knowledge base with mechanical systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of computers and software, such as Microsoft Office products.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Travel is required.
- Normal office environment.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Work under pressure.
- Sitting for long periods of time.
- Works in a well-ventilated area.
- Occasional work periods at test sites and in the R&D shop.
