The Production Line Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production performance of designated lines, ensuring volume, quality, and system/process adherence. This role will also involve managing direct reports, training, and developing leaders to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production performance, including volume, ME, waste, product quality, and system/process adherence for designated lines
- Manage direct reports' performance, train, and develop leaders to achieve targets
- Lead CI and RCA, control line waste, and ensure hand palletizing when Palletizer stops
- Plan and work towards multiskilling employees, ensuring all tasks are well-covered with the correct skill set
- Develop high-performing team leads and operators capable of sustaining operational excellence initiatives
- Support organizational quality and environmental initiatives across the site
- Analyze production results to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead health and safety culture to ensure hazard identification and correction
Requirements
- Form 6 level education
- Trade Diploma in manufacturing or 3-5 years in manufacturing/operations leadership experience
- Extensive experience in bottling or other processing environments
- Competency in using Lean problem-solving tools
