Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Coordinator to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our Regional Laundry Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of linen and laundry services to our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the inventory and budget for purchase, cleaning, and replacement of all linen and laundry supplies.
  • Coordinate the processing and distribution of 19 million kilograms of soiled linen annually.
  • Develop and implement linen distribution methods and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities to understand their linen and laundry needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Ensure compliance with CSA standards for linen distribution, storage, and transportation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of linen and laundry supplies.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, linen usage, and distribution metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Provide training and support to healthcare facility staff on linen and laundry procedures and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in linen distribution, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • High school education, Manitoba standards.
  • Valid Manitoba driver's license.
  • Certified Linen and Laundry Manager Designation.
  • Proficiency in business software, including LinenMaster, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
