About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Team Leader to join our team at Best Canadian Dollar Store. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate sales floor staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve employee productivity and job satisfaction.
- Monitor and control store inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and achieve business objectives.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
- Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
